Hey there friends. Did you realize we’re already 3 months into 2017? Crazy, but it’s true! So my question for you today is…
How are those goals coming?
At the beginning of the year, I shared with you some of my big goals for the year, told you that you can hold me accountable if you want, and encouraged you to think about your own goals for 2017.
Where do you want to improve?
What do you want to achieve?
How do you want to grow?
Since our calendar years are divided into quarters, three months in seems like a good time to assess and reevaluate – how are we doing in the areas we determined to grow in this year?
I can at least tell you that I’m sticking with the “monthly goals” graphic thing! So far I’ve created one each month, and hang it on my bulletin board in the kitchen so I see it every day:
I feel like this does help me to both remember and accomplish things I want to from month to month, but I have to remember to look at my big master goal list once in a while… otherwise I’ll forget something important and get stuck in a “goal rut” of — daily quiet time, exercise 3 times a week, write 2 blog posts, invite people over. Repeat.
So what about you, friend? Did you set some specific 2017 ambitions, or choose some pointed areas you want to grow in? If so, how is it looking now, three months in?
There is so much time and opportunity left in this year! Evaluating our goals at the end of this first quarter is a good way to reposition and realign for the rest of the year, so we can accomplish the growth we want to see.
You can do it! 🙂
